Centre for Further Education

The Centre for Further Education contributes to successful developments in the schools of today and tomorrow. The focus is on how children, young people and adults learn.

Focal areas

• Working closely with internal and external experts, we develop standardised and customised further education courses for teachers of all levels.
•  Through our close collaboration with the cantonal authorities, other universities of teacher education and providers of further education courses, we also facilitate further training measures for other types of education professionals, including school management staff, lecturers at universities of teacher education, education specialists, people with educational responsibilities and local government employees. 
• We provide schools and other educational institutions with assistance and advice in implementing school development projects.
• We see ourselves as an education competence centre and also offer our services to clients outside the cantonal borders.
