Professional Studies enable and promote the establishment of the professional competencies required for the teaching profession.

The Centre for Digitalisation and Education implements the projects of the Canton of St.Gallen’s IT Education Offensive with a special focus on primary/secondary schools and academic-stream secondary schools.

The Centre for Sustainable Development is the contact point for all the issues surrounding education in sustainable development, and sustainable development as such, for students, teachers and staff.
 

The Centre for Continuing Education develops standardised and tailor-made continuing education formats for teachers and further circles. It supports schools and educational institutions in school development projects.

The Centre for Academic Consulting supports all the PHSG’s staff and students in their academic activities.

The five Regional Didactic Centres consolidate schools in their development, support teachers and students in their classroom activities and disseminate innovations in the school sector.
