Our mobility programmes for students, lecturers and employees provide you with the opportunity to experience student life at the PHSG as our guest. By participating in a guest semester, you will gain valuable insights into the structure and content of our study courses, and be able to complete an internship in the region. You will also get to know the educational and cultural landscape in Eastern Switzerland.
To share students’ every day life, make new contacts, gain an insight into life in a Swiss city in eastern Switzerland – if you would like to do so – you are the ones we are looking for. Depending on your previous education, you can choose offers for future kindergarten teachers, primary or lower secondary school teachers. The PHSG is a middle-sized university with a personal touch.
The academic education is completed by internships in local schools. You get the opportunity to discover a teacher’s professional life.
Various types of leisure-time activities complete the picture and let eastern Switzerland become a wish-destination for guest students.

Experience of a Lifetime!
The International Class at the PHSG is a full, one-semester course held in English and providing 30 ECTS credits. The International Class is meant for students studying to become primary or secondary school teachers and is open to guest students and PHSG students on application.

Staff at the PHSG partner institutions are welcome to get to know our university through a study visit or one of our compact week programmes. Both options offer participants the opportunity to get actively involved in our institution's running. The same options, only vice versa of course, are open to staff at the PHSG.
