About us
The core mission of the St.Gallen University of Teacher Education (PHSG) is the training of teachers for primary/secondary school and vocational colleges.
The institution employs almost 600 staff. Currently, about 1,400 people are studying at the PHSG. Besides the fields of training and job induction, the PHSG provides an extensive range of advanced training courses, which are used by about 10,000 people every year. With its commitment to research, development and services, the PHSG additionally makes a contribution to the settling of issues concerning school, teaching and professional development in the education sector.
The PHSG’s campus extends to four university buildings in St.Gallen, Rorschach and Gossau.
